I have been using the horse Tincture for the past year and a half on My Mare with DSLD. When I first bought my 12 year old APHA a year and a half ago, I noticed her limping after a week of having her at my home. I quickly had my Vet come out and he diagnosed her with Degenerative Suspensory Ligament Desmitis. This is where the horses fetlocks (A horses ankle) begins to sink and is not held as high as it should normally be, making it painful for them to walk. My Veterinarian put my mare on Bute, a pain medicine that she was supposed to take daily for the rest of her life, to keep her pain free. We all know, pharmaceutical pain meds are not good for our bodies or our organs, especially long term. I was desperate for an alternative.
